Icetube

Developed in 2014 and formerly known as Iceline, Icetube continues to be manufactured in the UK to the same exceptionally high standards—only the name has changed.

Icetube is a simple yet highly effective solution to a common growing problem. Traditional irrigation tubing is typically black, which absorbs heat and raises the temperature of the nutrient solution. Warmer nutrient solutions increase the risk of root-related issues such as root rot and Pythium, negatively impacting plant health and performance.

Icetube eliminates this risk through its innovative dual-core design. The outer white layer reflects heat, helping to keep the nutrient solution cooler, while the inner black layer blocks potentially harmful UV rays, protecting the solution from degradation. This combination keeps root-zone temperatures more stable and creates a healthier growing environment.

Growers have reported nutrient solution temperature reductions of up to 10% or as much as 3°C, simply by switching to Icetube.
