To use Rhizopon in the most effective way, use a silicon spray or additive on the mother plant a week before you take the cuttings. This will ensure the plants are strong and sturdy with healthier cells, which helps the plant deal with the coming stress. After you take the cutting, dip the cut end in to water, shake off the excess and then dip it into Rhizopon, to about 2cm deep. Quickly place the cutting into a rooting cube or potting mix, being sure not to wipe the hormone off as it goes in. Put the cuttings into a warm propagator and keep humidity levels as close to 100% as you can while they root.
